The scary thing is that there are poeple who still take this guy seriously...

James Earl Carter, thankfully a former US President is still out there embarrassing himself and the American people.
His latest foot in the mouth episode is claiming that "In my opinion, maybe the worst ally Israel has had in Washington has been the George W. Bush administration."

Gee Jimmy, let us review history a bit. It was one of your less brilliant moves to push for allowing Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini to return to Iran. That lead to the 1979 revolution that put the current Iranian government in power. The very same government that has given Hezbollah the two thousand plus missiles it has fired at Israel. The very same missiles that Hezbollah is not supposed to have (UNSC Resolution 1589, which the UN has done a brilliant job of ignoring).

Related note: The Iranian Revolution occurred in 1979. I had this nice liberal lady the other day trying to tell me that it must have happened in the 1980 because either Reagan or Bush 41 had to been the President at the time of that foreign policy disaster.
Keep in mind that is the same person who tried to tell me before that it was GW Bush who was demanding recounts in Florida back in November of 2000. Nice lady, but her knowledge of history is severely distorted by viewing through a far left wing liberal lens.
