NATIONAL
95% of Precincts Reporting
George W. Bush 51% 56,732,387
John Kerry 48% 53,004,905
That's a 145,000 vote lead in Ohio, and a 3.7 million vote lead in the popular vote nationwide.
CNN just said that
According to CNN, New Mexico comes out:
The President has 335,311 and Kerry came in with 323,691. That a lead of 11,620.
That's with 99% of the precincts reporting.
CNN has Iowa at 741,325 for the President, and Kerry with 725,700. That's a lead of 15,625 votes.
That's with 99% of the precincts reporting.
If New Mexico and Iowa are certified for the President, Ohio won't matter. President Bush would have 276 Elector votes and even with Ohio, Gore would have 262.
