Damn good question!

Mr. Reynolds asks us to imagine how this would be playing if American troops were involved.
The case in point, massive allegations of sexual abuse by U.N. civilian staff and soldiers.

The United Nations is investigating about 150 allegations of sexual abuse by U.N. civilian staff and soldiers in the Congo, some of them recorded on videotape, a senior U.N. official said on Monday.

The accusations include pedophilia, rape and prostitution, said Jane Holl Lute, an assistant secretary-general in the peacekeeping department.

Mr. Knapp, posting at Protein Wisdom chimes in:
In the time it takes you to read this, Michael Moore will have eaten a bucket and a half of fried chicken, selectively edited 77 minutes of footage and “digitially enhanced” 14 photographs in an attempt to prove that incidents of rape and pedophilia by U.N. peacekeepers were all Bush’s fault.

He will also have downed two gallons of C2 instead of regular Coke in order to “keep the weight off.”
